This notice covers speedy-plugins.com, purchases, the newsletter and Speedy Plugins support requests. It does not replace the privacy notices of customer websites using our plugins. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO).
2. Data, purposes and legal bases
Purchases: checkout requests your name, email address and telephone number. We also handle order information and payment status to supply the product and service communications. Legal basis: contract performance; legal obligation for applicable administrative duties.
Support: we process your contact information and the requests you send us to respond and resolve reported issues. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps requested by you or contract performance.
Newsletter: we use FluentCRM to manage subscribers and 2Send to send emails. We process email addresses, names where provided and subscription status to send updates and offers based on consent. You can unsubscribe through the email link or by contacting us. Purchasing does not, by itself, constitute newsletter consent.
Browsing and security: systems delivering and protecting the website may process IP addresses, browser information, requests and technical logs. The purpose is service availability and protection; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in website security and continuity. We do not currently use website analytics tools.
3. Necessary and optional data
Required fields are identified in forms. Without necessary data we cannot complete a purchase or respond to a request. Newsletter subscription is optional and refusal does not prevent a purchase. Providing a phone number at checkout is not consent to telephone advertising.
4. Services and recipients
The website is hosted on a server located in Italy. We use Cloudflare for website infrastructure and protection, FluentCRM for newsletter management, 2Send for email delivery, and PayPal and Stripe for payments. Authorized personnel and providers access data as needed for their services; data may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.
Payment providers also process data entered directly into their interfaces, according to the selected service and their own notices.

5. International processing
Hosting in Italy does not mean all providers process data only in Italy. International services such as Cloudflare and payment providers may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Transfers for processing entrusted to providers must be covered by applicable safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. You can request information and a copy of relevant safeguards from our privacy contact.
6. Retention periods

Data needed for legal duties or disputes is retained only for those needs and for the necessary period. At expiry we delete or anonymize data. After unsubscription we retain only the minimum information needed to respect that choice and document consent, without further promotional messages. Providers’ independent processing follows their own notices.
7. Rights and contact
Where applicable you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing and withdraw consent without retroactive effect. Contact [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority.
